SUGGESTED USE:
For Skin: Massage bar between wet hands or directly onto a wet Loofah to produce a rich lather. Gently work the lather/bar across areas of the skin that you wish to cleanse. Once Finished, rinse thoroughly with cool to warm water until all the lather is removed. For optimal results after bathing, follow up with a natural moisturizer (such as our Skyclad Body Butter) to lock in moisture and promote soft, glowing skin.
For Hair*: Massage bar between wet hands or directly onto wet scalp to produce a rich lather. Gently work lather into scalp and through hair strands to thoroughly cleanse. Once finished, rinse thoroughly with cool to warm water until all lather is removed. Follow up with Ritual Rinse Herbal ACV Hair Rinse to balance scalp PH and promote softness & shine.
*When using as a shampoo, we strongly recommend following up with our Ritual Rinse ACV Hair Rinse! This step can be used as an alternative to conditioner, and it aids in balancing the scalp's PH, removing buildup, and promoting softness and shine. Additionally, our hair rinse is infused with organic herbs and essential oils that help to promote hair health, growth, and vitality.

IMPORTANT SHAMPOO USAGE NOTE: If planning to use Smudging Suds as a shampoo bar, please note that you may experience what’s known as a “transition period” that can last roughly 2-4 weeks (depending on how frequently you wash your hair). During this time you may notice an increase in scalp sebum production which may leave your hair feeling heavier and/or greasier than normal. While not everyone will experience this transition period, it is a common phenomenon when making the switch from conventional shampoos that are laden with chemicals. In essence, your hair and scalp will be adjusting its natural oil production and PH while simultaneously detoxing from previous chemical buildup. To assist with this process, we highly recommend using our Ritual Rinse Herbal ACV Rinse as a substitute for conditioner after each wash! Over time, the transition period effects should dissipate leaving your hair feeling lighter and healthier than before.
